  • In TRUE BLOOD – I DON’T WANNA KNOW, who was after Sookie? Who was the anonomys attacker?

    Category: QA

Last night, there was a TRUE BLOOD episode called I DON’T WANNA KNOW. Sookie was alone in a bar, the lights go out, and two hands grab her throat. She breaks away and heads for the men’s restroom but it’s locked. She hides in the kitchen. The figure of the man could be seen through a glass window passing by. Sookie withdraws her shoes and creeps away to hide behind the shelves. The man walks in quietly, Sookie tries to escape, the man goes after her. He grabs her leg, she kicks him away. She runs to through the bar, bumps into Sam and freaks out. Sam tries to go look for the man, Sookie says “NO! DON’T LEAVE ME!”, and Sam comforts her. Who was the anonomys attacker? His body, hands, legs, and shape were only shown through the dark shadows with his face off-camera. Who was after Sookie?
It’s the episode where Jessica is held hostage by Bill and the other crowd of vampires. A couple is in the basement with an old man tied up. The wife tells her husband not to set him free because he’s a vampire, the husband pushes the wife away. The wife drives a wooden stake into the man’s stomach killing him. The husband has some bloody ooze on him and is spooked out. The episode ends with Bill draining Jessica’s blood, presumably killing her (disturbing to watch).
Sookie was also haunted by visions of a woman’s strangulation as she was escaping her attacker. How would we find out who’s after Sookie? How would we find out who the perpetrator is or even whoever’s behind this?
Rene had a head of blond hair. The attacker had no blond hair. By the way the silhouette of his physical appearance looked (especially when he could be seen walking by the glass door), his hair must have been dark.

no one knows they hid his identity for a reason but one must assume the guy in the bar was the guy doing all the killing around the town

I really think it is Rene. I thought so for weeks. It makes so much sense. All of a sudden he is becoming this big character but still is a bit shady in how he is always asking questions about Bill and whatnot. And the anatomy totally matches his build.

If you are able to watch the episode again, and you rewind the part where the mysterious stranger jumps up from the other side of the counter you can tell who it is, based on clothing, build, and height of the character. One can assume that he was a guest at the engagement party, how else could he have known Sookie went into the bar to get more ice? We know he likes to wear denim, however we can rule Sam out since he was at the front door entrance when Sookie ran into his arms, plus they heard the back door open and slam shut. The husband and wife you’re mentioning is actually Jason Stackhouse and Amy Burley, they’re just boyfriend/girlfriend, they aren’t married, the vampire that they held hostage was named Eddie, unfortunately Amy staked him, and now he’s dead.

We’ve heard Sookie tell us that she sometimes get pictures with the telepath-ness that she has, for example, seeing the man get drained by a vampire in one of Fangtasia’s bathroom stalls. So the image she received from the presumed killer, has something to do with him strangling a waitress to death. (I was really hoping it was Amy since I don’t like her character, however one could only wish) Hope that helps answer your question

If you saw last nights episode alot of questions may have been answered, even in the preview for the season finale gave away alot.
Sookie and Sam went to investigate the strangling images Sookie had and were suppose to receive a fax sent directly to their Sheriffs office with the picture of the brother of Cindy the waitress that was strangled.
You also see that Jason is freaked out by Amy’s behavior and goes to the road site complaining about her “V” addiction and how he wished she was gone. If you notice Rene is asking alot of questions, and then just ends by says ” don’t worry Jason, these sort of things have a way of working themselves out.” The fax finally arrives at the Sheriffs office and it is RENE! Unfortunately the preoccupied secretary buries it under some files and who knows when they will see this. Jump ahead to the sneak peaks to the season finale, and they show alot of Rene in the clips fleshing out this theory even more. According to the book as many people have stated before Rene is the murderer, but it makes you wonder how the writers of the show are going to twist this angle to keep the 24+ million viewers interested as we are once the murderer is revealed. I also suspect that Jessica and the lady who bailed Tara out will be the source for next seasons plot.
